Yukta Mookhey
Sacred Advisor
Yukta Mookhey is a globally recognized humanitarian, spiritual practitioner, and devoted mother whose life has been shaped by sacred service. On December 5, 1999, with the blessings of her beloved Shree Guru, she brought glory to India by winning the Miss World crown - a platform she has since channelled into decades of meaningful work at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern healing. A lifelong student of Siddha Yoga Sadhana, she is initiated into fine arts, classical music, and the deep currents of India's Indic and Bharatiya knowledge systems. Her healing practice weaves together Reiki mastership, Moon Mother womb blessings and mentorship, Bach flower therapy, sound healing, craniosacral therapy, and somatic intelligence; all grounded in the rhythms of the lunar cycle and the sacred wisdom of Indian scriptures.
A Waldorf-trained early childhood and remedial educator, certified Prenatal and Perinatal Birth Psychologist (APPPAH), and founding member of the Prenatal Alliance, Yukta brings an extraordinarily holistic lens to the journey of conscious conception, pregnancy, and early childhood. She holds an Ayurveda diploma with specialization in women's and children's health, Garbha Vidya, and Ayurvedic postpartum care, and is trained as a birth doula and RIE practitioner in the tradition of Magda Gerber. An ardent environmentalist and alumni of the Ecological Society of Pune, she champions water conservation, the protection of farmers' ancestral agricultural lands, and chemical-free, earth-aligned living. As a single mother, she walks her path with wholeness - raising her son in devoted service to Mother Earth and the living tradition of Vedic knowledge.
Her journey of sacred motherhood, ancestral wisdom, and soulful healing finds its natural home in Matre Sofia — a fellowship where every dimension of her life's work is recognized as an act of spiritual devotion.
